James J. McSweeney
Jim is President and Chief Executive Officer at DaVinci Capital Management. With over 34 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jim uses his comprehensive knowledge to understand his clients' investment and business needs, evaluate potential options and create alternative solutions to meet their financial and business goals.
Jim graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and started his career in the financial services industry. His broad experience has taught Jim to think creatively using each client's unique situation as the foundation for making forward-looking investment and business decisions.
As the President of The CIP Group and DaVinci Capital Management, Jim is responsible for the overall management and direction of the firm. He oversees a team of financial professionals with a passion for growing the team. He provides leadership, creative thinking and acts as a sounding board when developing important client recommendations. Jim brings his deep expertise of retirement planning and business planning, employer-sponsored retirement plans, Medicare and insurance to help clients untangle the confusion around the financial services world and put a plan in place for a successful future.
In his spare time, Jim volunteers at non-profit organizations to help them meet their financial goals. He has three grown children and lives with his wife in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Kelly is Executive Vice President of DaVinci Capital Management. She brings over 19 years of financial services industry experience to the firm. She has been the Vice President of Operations at The CIP Group, Inc. for 15 years. Prior to joining the firm, Kelly worked as a Life & Disability underwriter for IDR, Inc.
Kelly graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She is active in the community and volunteers her time as a Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts Troop leader and serves on her children school's PTO Executive Board. Kelly is married and has two children, 10 and 7.
Daniel Roderigues, AIF®, CRPC®
Daniel has over 17 years of financial services experience. He is an experienced financial advisor in estate planning, college funding, retirement plans and income generation strategies. As Managing Director of Retirement Services, Daniel focuses on corporate retirement plans and provides plan participants with the advice and support they need to become better prepared for retirement.
Daniel's educational background includes earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Babson College in 2001. Daniel earned his AIF® designation from the Center for Fiduciary StudiesTM. As an AIF® designee, Daniel has demonstrated a full understanding of how to implement processes to help individuals and families achieve their investment goals in a responsible and accountable manner. He is trained to evaluate the fiduciary practices of investment stewards such as 401(k) and defined benefit plan sponsors and those responsible for managing endowment and foundation assets. Daniel also earned his Chartered Retirement Plan CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation which focuses on building an in-depth knowledge of clients' needs both before and after retirement.
Prior to joining DaVinci Capital Management, Daniel built his experience as a financial advisor at Mutual of Omaha assisting clients with a broad range of retirement and investment planning needs. He also held positions at John Hancock Investments, Director DCIO and American Century Investments, V.P. DCIO.
Daniel enjoys spending time with his loving family and friends, cooking and playing golf. He actively volunteers his time for causes that support the needs of seniors and veterans in the community. Daniel lives with his wife, Regan and young daughter, Harper, in Duxbury, Massachusetts.
For over 18 years, Debbie has been CFO of DaVinci Capital Management. She earned her B.A. degree in Business Administration from Marquette University.
Outside of the office, Debbie enjoys boating, exercising and spending time with her family. She has three grown children and livers with her husband in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Robert F. McGowan, AIFA®
As Senior Vice President of DaVinci Capital Management, Bob has more than 30 years of experience as a trusted advisor. He takes a hands-on approach to provide each client with personal service and planning strategies tailored to meet their unique goals and objectives.
Bob specializes in working with retirement Plan Sponsors and their Investment Committees to evaluate and implement ongoing best practices in the management of Corporate Retirement Plans. His objective advice and thoughtful approach help clients optimize the plans they offer so that participants achieve better outcomes.
Bob has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™ (AIFA®) professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh, and certifies him to conduct fiduciary assessments of qualified retirement plan. Bob utilizes these practices to help clients make sense of complex financial topics and stay compliant.
Bob and his wife are long time Massachusetts residents and have raised four sons. He is active in the community, enjoys travel and coaching youth sports.
Gregg Semprucci, ChFC, CLU
Gregg has over 36 years in the financial services industry. He enjoys working with people and helping them plan for the future. He works with business owners and individuals to help meet their specific financial needs focusing on life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance and retirement readiness.
Prior to joining DaVinci Capital Management, Gregg was an independent agent for Comprehensive Insurance Providers, Inc. Prior to that, he held the role of career agent for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and registered representative and as a career life insurance agent for New England Mutual Life Insurance Company. Greg started his career in 1986 as Senior Pension Consultant at American Fiduciary Corporation, Newton, Massachusetts.
Gregg's educational background includes earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern University. Gregg holds the Series 6, 7, 63, 22, 24 and 53 securities licenses. He earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation, a professional financial planning designation granted by the American College of Financial Services and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation, centered on the complexities of life insurance for both individuals and small businesses. Additionally, Greg holds a Life Insurance Training Council Certificate in Business Insurance and the MassMutual Life Insurance Company's Certificate in Special Care Planning.
Gregg lives in Marblehead with his fiancée and has a teenage son. In his spare time, he enjoys physical fitness, coaching sports and relaxing with his family.
